Tania Major is a proud Kokoberra woman from Kowanyama in Cape York, Queensland, Australia. Since being awarded Young Australian of the Year in 2007, she has dedicated herself to effecting change improving the lives and educational outcomes of Cape York Indigenous people, and to positively impacting cultural interactions.
Qualified in the diverse fields of art and criminology, Tania is a talented artist, inspiring and experienced motivational speaker, social justice advocate, and active businesswoman. She has a keen eye for possibilities and potential, and an exceptional ability to convey her passion and energy to others.
