Girls from Oz (g-oz) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing education and employment pathways and the overall wellbeing of girls and young women in remote Australia.

Our programs use the reputable, evidence-based performing arts engagement model as developed by the Australian School of Performing Arts over the past 40 years to engage and re-engage individuals in their schooling.

The g-oz team are now back in the office and we are thrilled to commence our 18th year of performing arts programming for girls and young women living in remote Australia! 🤩

Term 1 will see us visit Halls Creek District High School and La Grange State School in Western Australia`s Kimberley region as well as Lockhart State School and Kowanyama State School in Queensland`s Cape York Peninsula area.
