Funding and Partnerships
Sciona Browne has long been an advocate and generous supporter of g-oz. She has been involved with g-oz since 2009 and was responsible for initiating an ongoing program in Halls Creek. At that time Sciona was Manager of the Halls Creek Better Life Project and identified the dire lack of opportunities for girls; she was instrumental in the establishment of relevant relationships and secured substantial amounts of funding for the program in the early years.
Sciona has an incredibly wide range of work and life experience and well established professional relationships in Western Australia. After five years in Halls Creek she went on to be the Regional Manager, East Kimberley, for Save the Children and is currently a business advisor to Landgate. Sciona joined the g-oz Board in February 2016 and brings a wealth of talent to the board.
