Kylie’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Teaching and a Graduate Certificate in Education (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages); Kylie is passionate about both Performing Arts participation and the hidden benefits of language and literacy development. Kylie has led singing and music activities for children as young as 3 years of age in Early Childhood education settings, to adult teachers in Professional Development workshops. She has taught members of the Australian Girls Choir, and newly arrived migrant and refugee youth, in urban environments.

Kylie is presently part-time General Manager at Girls from Oz and part-time General Manager of Business Services at the Australian School of Performing Arts. Kylie is one of the founding Directors of g-oz. In her GM role for g-oz she is responsible for directing our program of week-long Performing Arts Intensives, overseeing our annual Travel Programs and the monitoring and evaluation of both. Kylie visits Halls Creek, Carnarvon, Lockhart River and Kowanyama annually as a lead Instructor and to work alongside the communities there.
